February is ..... congratulations and celebrations!!

1st February 2011

CONGRATULATIONS PHILIP!

He did it!! He passed his driving test. Well done Philip, I cannot explain how pleased I am for you, I am so proud that you never gave up and kept on going! I will never forget when I saw that massive smile on your face and I just cuddled you!

A little poem for you:

You've cracked it!..Knew you could
Your driving test you've passed
It's all over now, a job well done
The 'L' plates gone at last
But just make sure you take heed
Of what's in the Highway Code
Please keep safe and drive with care
You're a 'Newbie' on the road!

6th February 2011

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANIEL!

Can't believe your 21 already! I remember the day you were born and holding you in my arms. I fell in love with you instantly and love you as much now as I did then!

I found a poem for you too:

How could it be so long ago
You were just a babe in arms
Melting everybody's heart
With all those baby charms.

How could the years have gone so quick
It seems like yesterday
When you were just a little boy
Running out to play.
Did somebody put forward
The precious hands of time
And turn our little son
Into a man so sublime.

For here you are today
All grown up and lovely too
A warm and gentle person
So special through and through.
And all those childhood charms you had
Have grown with you each day
And made you much more special
Than words could ever say.
So Daniel, may all the dreams
You hold within your heart
Come true and bring you happiness
From which you'll never part.
Congratulations on your 21st Birthday
With love, Mum xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I would like to take credit for the poems, but sorry to say, I borrowed them, as poetry is not one of my talents!

At the moment Jamie likes to come home from school and get the face paints out and chose a design he wants, it was the skeleton today! With fake blood for added gore!

Jamie was sat on the worktop making his toast this morning, he saw the sink full of bubbly water and could not resist giving his feet a bath!

We practised Jamie's writing today, he did really well.

Look at the concentration!

Daddy and Jamie put on a magic show.
Just like that!

Abracadabra!

Daddy was chief cake maker today. He has caught the cooking bug! Just have to get him into making dinners now!! Jamie was chief taste tester!!

Jamie oliver better watch out!

Yum, yum!!
