A trip to meet up with our family

Big bro, little bro
What handsome chappies! (Paul is wearing his high heels!)

Improvising bat and ball with a stick and fir cone
An amazing toadstool, the pixies are hiding!
Jasmine and Jamie
Paul is so strong! Can you see the tree is pushed over with one hand!!
Mummy leading the way
We're going on a bear hunt.
We're going to catch a big one.
What a beautiful day!
We're not scared.

Uh-oh, water!
Winding, murky stream.
We can't go over it.
We can't go under it.

Oh no!
we've got to go through it!

Jamie and Randaya

They are best friends, Jamie would have Randaya round everyday to play if he could! This is them snuggled down watching the Star Wars DVD. The reason they have no tops on is because they had been out on the trampoline in the freezing cold with their tops off (like you do!) Say no more!!

I can see a rainbow!

What a beauty .........................

The Nativity Stable

I made the stable for our school play, it is getting more battered by the day, but it is the last performance tomorrow evening, so it just needs to hang on in there one more day!

Christmas bedtime stories

Oh how I love books and Christmas, two of my many favourite things! I am trying to read as many Christmas stories as I can in the lead up to Christmas. Jamie has four books that we share each night, this is the four we snuggled up together in his bed to share, thank heavens for the library that keeps us in fresh supply each week.

A special letter from my very special little boy!

Jamie was supposed to be going to bed, but he came down with this note he had wrote, "Your the best mum ever". It melted my heart, how cute is that!

A great Sunday walk around Brightwell-Cum-Sotwell

I have said this before and I will say it again, I love Brightwell, we had lunch at Mum and Jim's, such yummy food, we then went for a walk to burn off some of the calories we consumed!
Poor little monkey was lost, I hope his owner realised he was missing and went back to get him, it was chilly out there!
So small against the big tractor.

Off to Notcutts to pick up a letter from Father Christmas

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

Jamie went to look on the tree to see if Father Christmas had replied to his letter.....

....... He found it!

A shepherd and a pussy cat!

Jamie has been practising for his school play, he plays a school child, so I do not have to worry about a costume as he is wearing his school uniform. He obviously felt a bit put out, as he wanted to dress up as a shepherd, his dressing gown, my snazzy scarf and his old blanket, job done! I thought shepherds had sheep, but not this one, he has a cat!!

Lanie, our beautiful cat, having a tickle!
